Alex started his career in accountancy and that strong foundation in financial analysis has proved invaluable during his 15 years’ experience in financial planning where he has held operational, technical and client-facing roles. Prior to joining Mivida at the beginning of 2022 he worked for a private bank in Cambridge.

A strong advocate of personalised financial advice, Alex enjoys working closely with clients to help them clarify their goals and priorities. His focus is on delivering comprehensive advice and presenting complex financial matters in a clear, accessible way, enabling clients to make informed and confident decisions.

Alex believes effective financial planning is built on long term relationships, trust and clear communication. By understanding each client’s wider circumstances and aspirations, he ensures advice remains relevant as life evolves and provides ongoing support to help clients stay on track.

Outside of work, Alex is a keen spectator and active participant in a wide range of sports, including cycling, tennis and skiing. He is also a competitive fencer, taking part in regional championships and team events. Alex and his wife have a young daughter and enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature trails together.

Claire has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years. Her initial introduction came via a small IFA in North London. That led to a 10 year stint during which time she gained wide ranging experience and honed her client relationship skills. She then moved to an Actuaries & Consultants as senior administrator, later becoming an Assistant Consultant with an investment management firm. She joined KMD in 2012.

Methodical and process driven, in her role as Client Manager, Claire is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for clients and derives great satisfaction from supporting them on their KMD journey.

She is married and very happy that her children share her voracious reading habits. At weekends she can be found curled up on the sofa with a good book or wandering around local book shops with her daughter.

Colin has been advising private clients for over 20 years is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, holds the Chartered and Certified Financial Planner qualifications and the STEP Certificate for Financial Services – Trusts and Estate Planning. He is passionate about delivering well thought through advice and exceptional service to clients.

He has previously worked for a prestigious London-based advice firm and also headed up the Anglia region for the Wealth advisory arm of a large national accountancy practice.

Colin joined Mivida in 2018 after a lengthy period of research to find a firm that shared his passion for delivering comprehensive and personalised wealth management to help clients achieve their goals.

He has a Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Offshore Engineering and prior to becoming a Financial Planner, travelled the world working as a drilling engineer in the oil and gas industry. Colin finds his technical engineering background helpful when evaluating complex client scenarios.

Colin is married with two children and when not at work, enjoys family holidays, walking their cocker spaniel and attempting to improve his golf handicap.

Dean has been researching investments and managing multi-asset portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities for nearly 20 years. Since graduating in 2005 with a degree in mathematics, he has put his skills in the ‘science of investing’ to full use interpreting inter-market trends to design efficient investment strategies. Dean leads our Investment Team and chairs the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Mivida in 2013, Dean was the architect for another wealth manager’s investment proposition. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and was recognised globally for his achievement in portfolio construction theory in 2017, winning the CISI examination award.

Away from the office, Dean enjoys spending time with his young family and when not teaching his son the rudiments of DIY with a toy toolset, he can be found using the real thing as a keen DIY enthusiast. Currently training for his first half marathon, he is also a swimmer and squash player.

Ellie joined Mivida in 2015 and is now Client Operations Manager, overseeing client-facing operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of projects, processes, and systems across the business. Working closely with the Operations Director, she plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, maintaining high service standards, and supporting strategic objectives.

With experience across both client servicing and operations, Ellie has a strong understanding of the full client journey and the systems that support it, including the technical processes behind the scenes. She manages projects from initiation through to completion and leads on process improvements, staff training, and the effective use of systems across the business.

Ellie began her career in retail, developing strong customer service skills that continue to underpin her focus on delivering an excellent client experience. She holds a Pitman’s Diploma in Office Skills and the Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations.

Outside of work, Ellie enjoys long walks with her husband and their French bulldog, and taking part in extreme activities such as skydiving.

Helen joined Mivida in 2021 bringing with her over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Formerly an Adviser within the wealth management arm of a law firm, she holds the Personal Finance Society’s Diploma in Financial Planning and is undertaking the extensive study necessary to achieve Chartered status.

Helen’s approach is centred on building long term-term, trusted relationships with her clients. She takes the time to truly understand each client's circumstances, priorities and long-term goals and is recognised for her empathetic manner and clear, considered advice. Always acting in her clients' best interests, Helen combines strong technical knowledge with a thoughtful, tailored approach to help clients make informed decisions, providing clarity, peace of mind and confidence in their financial future.

Married with three teenage children, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and going for long walks with their Lowchen (Little Lion Dog). She loves to travel and finds time by the sea especially restorative.

Kevin is passionate about building strong long-term relationships with our clients and is justly proud of Mivida’s excellent reputation. Solutions orientated, he is a lateral thinker and enjoys encouraging clients to review and reflect on their relationship with money and pre-conceived thoughts about what they ‘ought to do’. Highly qualified holding the Chartered Financial Planner qualification, he is a regular speaker at industry conferences.

As a member of the Investment Committee, he serves as a client champion, challenging decisions to make sure the investment propositions are relevant and practical.

He is married with three children and, although no longer competing in ultra-distance triathlon events and Double-Ironman challenges, he still retains his interest in all things sporting including mountaineering and motor biking.

Kim joined Mivida in 2019 and comes from the banking world. She spent 20 years with the Lloyds Banking Group working in various divisions and locations including London, Halifax and Cardiff. Prior to joining us she was PA to the Regional Director and based in Bishop’s Stortford.

Highly organised and with a genuine passion for client service, Kim provides telephone callers and visitors with a warm and professional welcome to the firm. Her years of experience at senior level and management skills are also utilised in her role as the Director’s PA.

Originally from South Wales, she is married with two daughters. She enjoys running, ice baths and walking her dog.

Laura started her career in Investment Management in 2002, working initially in the back office of the Wealth Management arm of a Law firm. She gained experience across the business before working her way up to a qualified Investment Manager. She specialised in managing a range of Discretionary managed bespoke portfolios for Private Clients, Trusts, Pensions and Charities as well as developing, implementing and managing a range of risk targeted model portfolios. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).

Laura joined Mivida in November 2023 as an Investment Assistant, supporting the Investment Team.

Away from the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, young family and puppy which doesn’t leave much time for anything else!

As a young Chartered Financial Adviser, Lewis joined the firm in early 2024, bringing experience from his time as an adviser for an independent financial planning firm in Bury St. Edmunds. Lewis prides himself on blending his technical expertise and analytical ability with a warm, approachable style in order to assist the Senior Advisers at Mivida to deliver accurate and meaningful financial advice.

Lewis enjoys the challenge and results that sensible financial planning can bring. He firmly believes that taking small steps now can allow you to reap the rewards in the future and applies this to not just his working life, but his personal life, his health, and his fitness too.

Outside of work, Lewis enjoys staying active through long-distance running, mountain biking, growing vegetables, working out, and helping his girlfriend look after their four rabbits.

With the unique distinction of having worked with Kevin for over 20 years, Lois started her career in finance in 1989. Initially working for stockbrokers in Bristol, she later moved into the independent financial advice sector.

That background, combined with her ability to see the bigger picture while also identifying potential operational efficiencies, has made her a valuable asset to Mivida over the years. Today, her continued commitment to improving the client experience and supporting our Chartered Financial Planners is demonstrated daily in her role as Client Manager. Her role also includes compliance where she ensures Mivida maintains operational excellence across all activities.

Out of working hours, she has three grown up children and is soon to be a step Granny. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, music, reading and puzzles.

Neal is responsible for our secure, protected management systems and has designed a number of our administrative and presentation tools. Prior to joined Mivida in 2011, he spent 11 years working in web design, tech support and as a Test Analyst at a financial software company.

A former professional guitarist, he spent 10 years travelling the world with well-known musical theatre productions and played lead guitar with 80s New Wave singer-songwriter Hazel O’Connor’s band.

Married with an adult daughter, he still plays local gigs and is also a keen scuba diver.

Olly is a Director of Mivida, where he helps shape the firm's wealth management proposition and supports its continued growth and development.

He has spent more than two decades in financial services, beginning his career as an investment manager before moving into senior leadership roles. He joined the board of NW Brown in 2011, became Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2017. During his tenure, the business grew to manage more than £1 billion of client assets before its successful integration into Brown Shipley.

Alongside his executive experience, Olly served as a Non-Executive Director of Green & Purple during its scale up and subsequent sale to Affinia. He is often sought out by business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals as a trusted sounding board, known for bringing a calm perspective and helping people work through complex decisions.

At Mivida, Olly combines his wealth management background with a passion for building strong businesses, developing people and creating the conditions for long-term success. He is particularly interested in how firms can grow without losing sight of the values and culture that made them successful in the first place.

A Chartered Fellow of the CISI, he holds the Securities Institute Diploma.

Married with four children, who he spends much of his time ferrying around, he is a keen tennis player and skier, an armchair fan of most other sports and an avid listener to an ever-widening range of podcasts.

Teri joined Mivida in early 2023, bringing with her a client focused career spanning both the financial services industry and the legal profession. Over the years, she has recognised many similarities between the two fields, particularly their strong emphasis on client care, compliance, regulation and continuing professional development.

This background, combined with her natural ability to identify operational efficiencies and her strong attention to detail, has equipped Teri well for her role as Head of the Client Services Team.

Outside of work, Teri has a busy home life with two teenage children and two step children, so life is rarely quiet. She enjoys keeping fit at the gym and has a passion for travel, always on the lookout for a great holiday bargain.

Maddison started her career in financial services in 2019, as a Senior Associate within the Client Services area of a company providing third-party administrator services for asset management firms. Her years in that role inspired a keen interest in investments.

She joined Mivida in early 2025, identifying with the importance placed on exceptional client service, staff who truly care, and fulfilling relationships that are built and maintained by their True Wealth Management style. Since joining she has enjoyed expanding her administration skills and technical knowledge, connecting with clients, and becoming part of the Mivida family. As Client Manager Support, she has an eye for the details and works closely with other team members to provide a thorough yet smooth experience that serves the clients' best interests. She is currently working towards CII qualifications.

She studied English Literature and Creative Writing at university. In her personal time you will usually find her, with beloved cat Socks nearby, playing a video game or board/card game. She is learning Spanish and Japanese, regularly consuming media in these foreign languages and more.

Ryan joined Mivida in early 2025. He is an aspiring Financial Planner and has a strong interest in building a long‑term career within financial planning. With a background in Financial Services and Management Consultancy, he enjoys supporting clients and developing his technical knowledge as he progresses through his studies.

Having studied Sports Science with Management, he has a natural interest in health, fitness and high performing environments. Ryan is energetic, optimistic and solutions‑driven, and enjoys bringing a positive, engaging approach to everything he does.

Away from work, he loves travelling, staying active, playing cricket and golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Sophie joined Mivida in early 2025 and has previous experience in financial services. Having begun her career with St. James’s Place, she chose to move to an independent financial adviser to broaden her understanding of the industry and explore the wider possibilities within financial planning. Sophie is currently studying towards her diploma in financial planning and has a growing interest in environmental sustainability through investment.

In her role as Client Manager Support, Sophie works closely with advisers and client managers to ensure work is completed accurately and on time. She enjoys liaising with clients and building trusted, long‑term relationships, and is known for her positive attitude, strong teamwork and willingness to help.

Sophie originally studied music and business at university, playing both the saxophone and violin. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their dachshund, Milo.

Sarah joined Mivida in October 2025 and has been supporting the activation of our new brand. In the past 25 years Sarah has worked both agency and client-side as a marketing and communications professional developing high-impact strategies within a range of environments, including non-profit, start-up, and corporate organisations. She is passionate about putting the customer first and tailoring marketing and brand strategies to deliver business results.

Her experience spans both B2B, B2C, product and brand marketing. Sarah has strong commercial acumen having worked in project management, sales, marketing and in leadership teams at start-up and scaling businesses. She enjoys understanding what makes a business unique and translating that into a brand and marketing strategy that drives sustainable business growth.

Married with two children, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys going to the gym, running and yoga and you can find her most Saturday mornings at a Park Run!

Prior to joining Mivida at the beginning 2021, Stuart had already accrued 35 years’ experience in financial services and held management positions in organisations ranging from banks and insurers to third party administrators.

In his role as Operations Director, Stuart is responsible for overseeing and developing the general functions of the firm. This includes leading on the implementation of initiatives to enhance our Processes and Procedures, heading Compliance and regulatory requirements, Finance and IT as well as championing our Core Values. He is continually looking for ways to improve the Mivida experience for clients and support the team in their personal and Professional Development.

Stuart holds an MBA from Cranfield University. Married with two daughters (and a granddaughter), he enjoys watching motorsport, football and cricket and can occasionally be found riding his mountain bike or driving his vintage Triumph Spitfire around the country lanes of north-west Essex.

Hannah started her career in a pharmacy, but her desire to learn and enjoyment in dealing with customers led to her deciding to change direction. She then joined a financial services firm in 2013 where she gained experience across different roles.

Attracted by our team-based approach to managing clients’ needs and focus on delivering the best possible service, she joined Mivida in 2018. Hannah is now a member of our Technical team and holds the Personal Finance Society’s Diploma in Financial Planning. As a highly organised person with excellent administrative skills and increasing technical knowledge, she supports our Chartered Financial Planners to ensure the smooth delivery of service to our clients.

Hannah and her husband welcomed their first child to the world in 2025 and have since been embracing the joys of new parenthood whilst keeping their mischievous cat Reggie in check. When time allows, she enjoys long walks in the countryside, sun-soaked holidays and trying new restaurants with friends.

Guy holds a degree in Financial Economics and has built a strong foundation in the financial services industry through approximately four years working in investment operations, including vast experience within hedge funds. Committed to continued professional development, Guy is currently completing the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS).

Guy joined Mivida in April 2026 as a Trainee Financial Adviser, bringing a passion for helping individuals take control of their financial future. With his background in investments and economics, Guy is focussed on developing the skills and knowledge needed to help clients make confident, informed financial decisions. He is a strong advocate of long-term thinking surrounding financial planning, and believes small decisions now compound into large results for the future.

Outside of work, Guy enjoys staying active through the gym, long walks, and a game of badminton with his girlfriend. A keen sports fan, Guy follows football, rugby and athletics, and likes to unwind by listening to music or getting lost in a good thriller novel.

Keith was Chief economist at fund manager Schroders where he was responsible for the firm’s global economic outlook and a member of the Group Asset Allocation Committee. During his 30-year career at Schroders he published research on the economy and markets and played a key role in the establishment and success of the multi-asset investment team.

He is currently a trustee at the National Institute for Economic and Social Research where he is a member of Council and chairs the investment committee. He is on the Advisory Board of the Charity Property Fund and an external adviser to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust in Cambridge, where he was a trustee for 10 years until 2022.

He has been an external advisor to Mivida since early 2024 and enjoys sharing his experience with the team to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Keith regularly contributes to our quarterly economic and market updates, bringing clarity to complex market and economic developments.

He is a keen runner and recently completed his first Cambridge half marathon. He also plays golf and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
