Why We're Becoming Mivida: looking ahead with optimism

The move to Mivida marks an exciting moment for the business. Discover the why behind the rebrand.

After almost 20 years, we're ready for a name and look that reflects who we've always been and where we’re heading.

Almost twenty years ago, KMD Private Wealth Management opened its doors with a simple conviction: that financial planning should give people clarity, not create more complexity. That conviction hasn't changed, and nor has our ownership. This is simply a new name and identity, reflecting how we've evolved as a team.

What began as a founder-led practice has evolved into a close-knit leadership team. Kevin Deamer, Olly Phillips and Colin Gibson now lead a firm of over twenty professionals, all committed to the same principle that your finances are not simply about money.

Why Mivida

Mivida (my-veeda) comes from "mi vida". My life.

Your finances reflect your ambitions, security and legacy. When partnering with us, we always start with questions about what you're building, what concerns you and what you want your wealth to achieve, rather than portfolio allocation or product recommendations.

Before we give guidance or advice, we need the full picture. You may have pensions with different employers, investments opened years apart, policies you’ve half forgotten about. We gather everything together, organise it clearly, show you exactly where you stand, and help you make confident decisions about your plan and your investments.

 ‘My life’ also applies to our team. We recognise the time and commitment they give, and the importance of creating an environment where they feel supported, valued and able to provide the best experience for our clients.

We're clearer in how we describe what we do, and a look and feel that better reflects the warmth we bring to our relationships.

At the centre of our logo is a flowing line running through our name. Life isn’t a straight path. It has ups and downs. We help our clients navigate those moments with clarity and confidence.

We have avoided stock imagery. Instead, we use authentic photography of our team and clients, alongside images shared by the team of their families, holidays and lives outside work. A big thank you goes to the clients who generously gave their time to be photographed.
